Alaska Law Enforcement Memorial
Anchorage
The feel
The names go back to 1897 and include federal, state, borough and local officers.
A bell funded by an Anchorage teenager's fundraiser was added in 2026 and is rung once for each name at the annual service. At the ceremony, flags are placed on the lawn, one for each of the fallen, and a wreath of 69 red roses is laid with a single white rose for the officers still serving.
