What this site is. Daymingo tells you what the weather is likely to do in Southcentral Alaska and the Interior, and helps you pick a day and a place. It is a planning tool, not an authority.

The forecast is a forecast. Every number on this site is a prediction or a reading from somewhere else, and both can be wrong, stale, or missing. A dry day on Daymingo can rain. A trail we call easy can be washed out. An aurora score can be high on a night you see nothing. Do not use this site as your only source for a decision that matters.

The outdoors is your risk. Alaska is not a forgiving place to be wrong about the weather, the water, the road or the daylight. Deciding to go, and going prepared, is yours. Check the National Weather Service, Alaska 511 and the managing agency for the place you are headed, and tell someone where you are going. Daymingo is not responsible for what happens on the trip.

Where the data comes from, and what that means. Conditions, roads, river levels, aurora activity and maps come from public sources, each credited on the sources page with its own terms. Those sources set their own accuracy and availability, and when one of them is down the site says so rather than inventing a number.

Your account. Keep your sign in to yourself. You can delete your account and its data at any time. We can close an account that is being used to attack the site or to abuse other people.

Using the site fairly. Read it, plan with it, share links to it. Do not scrape it at a rate that costs us money or degrades it for other people, and do not republish the site's own ranked results as though they were yours. If you want the underlying data, go to the sources, which is where it came from.

What we do not promise. The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, correct, or free of mistakes, and we are not liable for a loss that comes from relying on it. Where the law does not allow that limit, it applies as far as it is allowed.

Changes. These terms can change. A change that matters will be dated on this page.

Where this applies. Daymingo is operated from Alaska and these terms are read under Alaska law.
