Broken Tooth Brewing

The feel

This is the production brewery at 2021 Spar Ave in Anchorage, in the same "Tooth" family as Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria and Bear Tooth Theatrepub. It was established in 1996 as Moose's Tooth Brewing Company before becoming Broken Tooth Brewing. In 2016 the brewers made 73 different craft beers, and the beer has taken 2 gold and 6 bronze medals from the Great American Beer Festival.

It is not set up as a taproom open to visitors. To taste the beer, go to Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria, Bear Tooth Theatrepub & Grill or Eye Tooth Tavern & Eatery.

What to expect

Setting

A production brewery in Spenard, not open to visitors. Pints are poured at Moose's Tooth and Bear Tooth.

Food and drink

Growlers, 750ml small-batch bottles and six-pack cans.

Music and events

First Tap was held on the first Thursday of every month, when a new beer was released, often with live music. It may not happen every month these days.

Treat the Spar Ave address as a brewery, not a bar stop. Plan your pints at one of the Tooth restaurants.
