Brewerks
Anchorage
The feel
Brewerks is a small-batch taproom in a newly built collection of warehouse buildings at 625 W. 59th Ave. Owner Chad Ringler, who brewed beer at home for close to two decades, opened it in November 2021.
Inside is an open-concept room with exposed rafters, round tabletops on beer barrels, and two seating areas including an upper loft. Ringler calls it his version of a hole in the wall, with a laid-back feel. He sometimes gives customers tours of the brewing and fermenting tanks in the back.
