Campbell Creek (Anchorage)

The feel

Campbell Creek is a greenbelt creek that runs right through Anchorage. You reach it from the Campbell Creek Greenbelt trail and from park access points across midtown and south Anchorage, so it is an urban stream fished from the bank.

Silver salmon come in the fall, and resident rainbow trout and Dolly Varden live in the creek. Fly and spin anglers work it, and crowds are low.
