Moose Range Trails
The feel
The loops start at the end of Wendt Road and wander through a network of trails and dirt roads in the Moose Range. The Powder Hilltops Loop heads north to The Swamp, a thriving wetland with waterfowl and other wildlife, then follows the wetlands east before looping back along the south side.
Hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers share the area, and quieter times of day bring solitude. Wildlife is commonly seen on the forest singletrack, so stay bear-aware.
