Anchorage North KOA (Palmer)
Palmer
The feel
This KOA sits at 2010 S Church St in Palmer, about 30 miles north of Anchorage, and was formerly known as Big Bear RV Park.
The sites range from 30-amp water and electric spots to Deluxe Pull-Thru sites with full hookups. There are also tent sites and cabins. A dedicated dog park, a fully enclosed pet area run through KampK9, makes it easy for travelers with dogs, and there is a playground for kids.
