Susitna River personal use dipnet fishery

Anchorage

Susitna River personal use dipnet fishery (July 10 through July 31, on Wednesdays and Saturdays). This is a new fishery as of 2020. This fishery occurs on the lower Susitna River, downstream of the Yentna River confluence and is about a 45 minute boat ride from Deshka Landing. The fishery targets sockeye and coho salmon. Pinks and chum salmon are also available. Most fishing is conducted from a boat, although there are a few sand bars suitable for bank dipping.
