Eklutna Tailrace youth-only king fishery occurs the 3rd Saturday June in a designated area from the mouth of the Tailrace upstream to the foot bridge from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.. This is a stocked terminal fishery that stays open even when wild stock fisheries are restricted. This was voted the #1 mom approved fishing spot by Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation in 2018.
