Seward RipTide RV Resort

The feel

The resort sits on the Resurrection Bay waterfront at the mouth of the Resurrection River, and the full-hookup sites are a short walk from the shoreline. Mornings can bring sea otters near the breakwater. Waterfront cabins are also available.

Boat tours leave from the Seward harbor, Exit Glacier is a short drive inland, and town is walkable. The property has showers, laundry and a store.

What to expect

Layout and setting

Waterfront RV park with 67 sites on Resurrection Bay. Full hookup sites have 30-amp power, city water and sewer, a picnic table and a fire ring. Tents are not permitted at electric-only or dry sites.

Check-in and stay

Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and check-out is between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am.

Crowds and best time

Peak season runs mid-May through mid-September, and waterfront sites are limited.

Parking and rig size

Full hookup sites have a level parking surface. Electric-only sites are for wheeled RVs and motorhomes only, and dry sites are for RVs only.

Fees and reservations

Dry sites from $40, electric-only sites from $60, full hookup sites from $70, and waterfront cabins from $425. Wi-Fi at electric-only sites is an additional service.

Pets are welcome.

Bathrooms and water

The water is treated and potable, and hot showers are on the property. Dry sites have offsite access to water.
