What it is like
Bear Creek RV Park is a wooded, creekside park a few miles north of Seward, handy for anglers chasing the silver run. It runs May to September with about 80 sites, full hookups, showers, laundry, a store and a dump station. Sites are reservable, and a fee applies.
The park is about 6.2 miles from Seward, which keeps town a short trip off. Grouse Lake (Seward), 1.1 miles away, is a roadside stocker and the go-to winter ice lake, minutes off the highway. Dale Clemens Cabin sits above treeline with views of Resurrection Bay, and it is reservable up to 6 months out.
