Woodland Trail
The feel
The Woodland Trail runs through birch and spruce forest in Meadow Lakes Community Park, part of 12 acres of woodland that also holds a hidden stream. The park is volunteer-run, free and open to the public, and the walk is quiet.
Salmonberry and serviceberry bushes grow along the way. The Woodland Trail is one of the park's trails, alongside a hidden creek trail and a walking trail around the outside perimeter of the softball field.
