Menard Trail
The feel
This is a paved, easy path through the wooded perimeter of the Menard Center, which stands on 60 wooded acres. The path is well maintained, and it suits walking, jogging and riding a bike. Strollers and leashed dogs are both fine here.
Each end of the trail has a Mutt Mitt station and a trash receptacle. The path is popular and busy most days, so expect to share it with other walkers and runners.

Mingo says
Come between May and September for the best walking. After a snowstorm, check that the path is open before you drive over.
