Iditapark Loop
The feel
A paved loop around the duck ponds and skate park in Iditapark, a 28-acre park in downtown Wasilla. The Honor Garden and Garden of Reflection sit among the duck ponds, with viewing benches and expansive turf areas.
The ponds and creek treat storm water from downtown and provide habitat for birds and ducks in summer. The park holds the Wonderland playground, a BMX track, an outdoor amphitheater and sports courts, so the loop has plenty going on around it.
