Swiftwater Park launch (Soldotna)
Soldotna
The feel
Swiftwater is Soldotna's east-side launch, steps from the town's fishing boardwalks. A wooded campground with river boardwalks sits beside the boat launch.
Soldotna has two boat-launch areas, Swiftwater Park and Centennial Park, and Swiftwater is the convenient in-town one. It gets packed on red-run weekends. Anglers use drift boats, the bank or spinning gear for Chinook, sockeye, coho and rainbow trout.
