Stariski Creek
Anchor Point
Stariski Creek is closted to fishing for king salmon.
- Access
- The pullout at the Sterling Highway Bridge is the best place to access Stariski Creek. Tall Tree Avenue to the north of the bridge also crosses the upstream section of Stariski Creek. The mouth of Stariski Creek can be popular for coho salmon fishing, but the best way to access it is by taking a four-wheeler two miles north on the beach from the Whiskey Gulch beach access. Be mindful that high tides can prevent your return to the Whiskey Gulch area if you do this.
