The feel
Eagle River is a glacial river north of Anchorage. You fish from the bank in the Eagle River valley and at the Briggs Bridge, and some of the best water is on JBER.
King salmon run in June and July on limited open days. Silver salmon come in August and September, and Dolly Varden are caught later in the season. Crowds are medium.
