Talkeetna Camper Park is a tidy private RV park in Talkeetna, a short walk from downtown and its Denali-viewing riverfront. It has 30 sites open May to September, with full and partial hookups, showers, WiFi and a dump station. The park is reservable by phone or online, and a fee applies.
Denali Brewing, 0.3 miles away, serves farm-to-table food from a full kitchen, with a big sunny deck and leashed pups welcome on the patio. Talkeetna River Park, 0.2 miles away, is a walkable borough campground with first-come sites, so it is the backup when this park is full. The Talkeetna Roadhouse is a log roadhouse still serving sourdough hotcakes the size of hubcaps to mountaineers and vagabonds.
