Middle Fork Loop
Anchorage
The feel
Middle Fork Loop is rolling singletrack in the Chugach that links Hillside trailheads in Anchorage. It is rated Intermediate, technical enough to keep you honest and scenic enough to forgive it.
South Fork Creek runs through the valley. The trail is also popular for hiking and walking, and for skiing in winter. Plan on 3.5-4.5 hr for the loop, and keep any dog on a leash, since dogs are welcome on a leash.
