Z Lake Loop
The feel
This easy loop circles Z Lake, in the center of Talkeetna Lakes Park, through forest and wetland. You start from the parking lot in the north, off South Comsat Road, and follow the Ermine Trail to the loop. The park's trails run through heavily wooded birch, spruce and cottonwood.
In winter the loop is groomed for skiing. Connecting trails offer other route options, so you can stretch the day.
