Yarrow-Xarrow and Southern Traverse Loop
The feel
The loop starts at the end of Murphy Road in the Moose Range, where an extensive network of trails and dirt roads snakes through the country. It cuts south through an open meadow, then swings into the forest on the Yarrow-Xarrow and Southern Traverse Trails.
Waterfowl and other wildlife thrive here, so keep your eyes open as you walk. The loop is also used for cross-country skiing and horseback riding, and quieter times of day bring some solitude.
