Trout Lake Cabin
Cooper Landing
The feel
Trout Lake Cabin is a two-story log cabin on the eastern shore of Trout Lake, with a loft, counter space, a table, benches and a wood stove for heat. Spruce and birch forest and open brushy areas surround it, with views across the lake.
You reach it on the Resurrection Pass Trail: 7 miles from the south trailhead to a spur trail, then another half-mile to the cabin. A rowboat with oars is provided in the non-winter months, and the lake holds rainbow trout and whitefish.
