Delta State Recreation Site Campground

Delta Junction

The feel

This campground has 24 to 25 sites on 23 acres at Mile 267 Richardson Highway, just north of the Delta Junction airport. It is a popular stop for travelers between Tok and Fairbanks. The Delta River lies directly across the highway, and the Alaska Range is visible from the site.

On a clear day Mt. Hayes (13,832 feet) shows. A covered picnic shelter stands in the picnic area, and stores and commercial showers are nearby in town.
