Clearwater State Recreation Site Campground
Delta Junction
The feel
This campground has 16 to 17 sites on 27 acres beside the spring fed Delta Clearwater River, a clear water river known for fly fishing for grayling. The river also holds whitefish and salmon, and a boat launch gives access to the water.
The river connects to the Tanana and Goodpaster Rivers, so visitors also float it. Toilets, water and picnic sites are on site, and there are no hookups.

Bring a fly rod for grayling in the clear water. Floating the river is a second way to spend the stay.
