The feel
This is a gold medal vodka distillery and tasting room in the historic 1935 Old City Hall in downtown Fairbanks. The building is a two-story Art Deco structure of reinforced concrete at 410 Cushman Street, designed by Seattle architect Henry Bittman, and it is on the National Register of Historic Places.
It is a family-run distillery. The best-selling bottle is 68 Below Alaskan Potato Vodka, made from Yukon gold potatoes and Alaskan spring water, and the whiskey ages downstairs in a former police holding cell.

- Wednesday to Friday roughly 4 to 8:30pm and Saturday noon to 8:30pm. Sunday through Tuesday hours are not confirmed, so call (907) 452-5055 before assuming it is closed.
