Chena Pump Wayside Boat Launch
Fairbanks
The feel
This is a public boat launch on the Tanana River off Chena Pump Road. The ramp is unimproved gravel, and how it feels to use depends on the river: conditions are highly variable with the Tanana River water level.
The wayside is set up for a day on the water. It has day use and picnic facilities and vaulted latrines, and it has room for 30+ truck-trailer combinations. Camping is not allowed.

Look at the river level before you load the trailer. A low or high Tanana changes what you find at the ramp.
