Rainbow Lake Trail
The feel
A wide gravel trail crosses a muskeg, then follows a small, forested ridge to the shore of a small lake, with views of surrounding mountains. It is level, about 5 ft wide and without much grade, so it is an easy hike for small children.
Daisies, cinquefoil, lady's tresses and flowering dogwood are common wildflowers. The lake offers rainbow trout fishing, and a hardened campsite at the end of the trail offers tent camping. Public use is low.
