- Take the Richardson Highway south of Delta Junction towards Glennallen, at mile 225.4 turn into a pull out on the west sidew of the road. Lake is located 100yards east of the highway through the woods.

What it is like
Rapids Lake trail starts across the Richardson Highway from a double ended turnout at the Black Rapids Glacier view Point. The trail is a couple hundred feet long and crosses over the Trans Alaska Pipeline and ends at Rapids Lake
