Rapids Lake is a stocked Lake set in the middle of the Alaska Range. The lake is long and narrow in the cut of a canyon and offers a view to the north of the Gunnysack Creek drainage and a view to the South of the mountains east of Black Rapids glacier. The shoreline is steep and better fished with a canoe or inflatable raft.
