Little Susitna River (Burma Landing)
Wasilla
The feel
This is a Clearwater Valley river with a strong silver run and summer kings. You can fish from the bank or float it by jet boat. The Little Susitna River Public Use Facility sits at the end of Burma Road, and a concessionaire runs it under State management in the Susitna Flats State Game Refuge.
Anglers work it with spin gear or fly rods from the bank, or from a drift boat. It is one of the Valley road-system standouts for silvers, and the crowds are medium.
