Lee's Cabin

Fox

The feel

This BLM log cabin looks out over the White Mountains and the Wickersham Creek valley to the north. It is about 7 miles from the Wickersham Dome trailhead, and it is one of the most popular cabins in the trail system because it is close to the road system.

It is primitive, with no running water and no electricity. A woodstove, bunks and a table are inside, and a woodshed and an outhouse stand outside. In winter people come for snowmobiling, dog mushing and skiing, and in summer for hiking and ATV riding.

Mingo says

Either season works here, so choose by what you want to do. Pick winter for skiing and mushing, or summer for hiking.
