Back to biking

A vast BLM backcountry trail network north of Fairbanks, built primarily for winter dog mushing, skiing and snowmachine travel but open to non-motorized summer use including mountain biking. Trails are rough, remote and largely unmarked doubletrack; this is expedition-style riding, not an afternoon loop. The Wickersham Dome trailhead at Mile 28 Elliott Highway is the main access point and has parking and a restroom.
