Matanuska Brewing
Palmer
The feel
This is a production brewery and restaurant on a three-acre campus in the Matanuska Valley, on a former dairy site. The taproom pours beers, barrel-aged beers, hard seltzers, canned cocktails and sodas, and a full kitchen turns out a comfort-food menu.
There is seating indoors and outside, with outdoor igloos for dining, and live tunes play at times. High chairs make it easy with little kids, and the Palmer taproom is open every day.
