Eagle River Loop
The feel
The Eagle River Campground has a small, scenic network of trails through riparian forest and muskeg, with access to Eagle River. The loop heads east and stays close to the river for two miles until Eagle River Loop Road. Coming back, a trail a bit south loops you around to the campground.
The trail is wide and dry, and moose are a chance sighting. The area is popular for birding, camping and cross-country skiing, so expect to meet other people.
