Fish Creek personal use dipnet fishery

The feel

Fish Creek is a river dipnet fishery that locals like a great deal. People fish from both the bank and boats, and the run brings coho (silver), sockeye and pink (humpy) salmon.

The fishery is opened by emergency order. From Wasilla you follow Knik-Goose Bay Road to mp 49.6, where a turnaround serves as the parking spot, and private property sits close by.
