Whiskey Point Cabins & RV Park

The feel

Whiskey Point sits on a bluff over Cook Inlet at Milepost 152.5 of the Sterling Highway, looking toward the snow-capped Aleutian Range. Views from the bluff take in Augustine, Iliamna and Redoubt volcanoes, and local access to the beach is on site. Homer is about 20 minutes south.

The RV sites have full hookups, and a recreation area, picnic tables, fire circles and grills are set up for campers. Cabins are available too.

Layout and setting

Sites A to C have ocean views from their patios, and the sites are fairly close together.

Check-in and stay

Standard check-in is 3:00 PM.

Parking and rig size

Full hookups with 30-amp electric. Maximum length is 50 ft, and the longest vehicle on record is 40 ft.

Fees and reservations

$50 to $55 per night for sites. Cabins start at $40.00 for a bunkhouse for 1 adult, from $100.00 for the Redoubt Cabin for 2 adults, and from $150.00 for the Iliamna Cabin. Reservations are by phone at (907) 235-1961. A 10% military discount applies with the code "USA".

Pets are allowed.

Verizon LTE has been reported.

Bathrooms and water

Showers and laundry are token-operated, in a building next to the office. Tokens are sold at the office or an automated machine, and the dump station is $25. Wi-Fi is at the office.
