Primrose Creek

The feel

Primrose Creek is a USFS campground with 8 first-come sites at the confluence of Primrose Creek and Kenai Lake, near Moose Pass. It has a boat ramp. The water is listed as river, and the fish listed are rainbow trout and Dolly Varden. Access is off Seward Hwy milepost 17. All salmon fishing is closed here, so the draw is the trout and the Dolly Varden. Camping is on a first-come basis, with 8 sites to share.
