Long Lake State Recreation Site
Chickaloon
The feel
Long Lake is a stocked lake at Mile 85.3 of the Glenn Highway, near Chickaloon. The water is 10 yards from the gravel parking area along a trail in good condition, so it is easy to reach.
Some of the 9 sites are walk-in or boat-in across the lake, and only electric motors are allowed on the water. The lake is used for fishing and recreation in summer and winter. There is a gravel boat ramp, an information kiosk and a toilet.
