Homer Spit Fishing Hole Camping
Homer
The feel
This is city-managed primitive beach camping along the Homer Spit, near the fishing lagoon. There are over 80 sites, including beachside sites. Some have basic vegetative boundaries and others sit in an open gravel parking lot.
The surface is gravel with potholes, and Pier One Theatre is next door with weekend evening entertainment. There are no electrical hookups, but fish cleaning tables are on site.

Mingo says
Heavy rain turns runoff into a problem here, so check the forecast before you pick a low spot. Arrive early enough to choose between a beachside site and the gravel lot.
