Nenana River, Clear Creek access

The feel

This is a hike-in coho access point on a clear tributary of the glacial Nenana River, reached from the Parks Highway near Anderson. You leave the road at Milepost 295 and walk in to Clear Creek. Crowds are low, and you fish from the bank with spinning gear or a fly rod for coho and Arctic grayling. Coho come on the fall run in September and October, and the limit can be set by emergency order in some seasons.
