Sheep Mountain Lodge RV Sites

The feel

Sheep Mountain Lodge is a classic roadhouse at Mile 113.5 on the Glenn Highway, at the base of Sheep Mountain, about two hours from Anchorage. It has cabins, a restaurant, and a sauna and hot tub in the bath house, with a sign-up sheet that gives each group the hot tub to itself.

Trails start out the back door, and Dall sheep can be seen on the nearby slopes. There are 6 RV sites with hookups.

Pets are allowed in select cabins for a $15 surcharge.
