Ptarmigan Creek Campground

Moose Pass

The feel

Ptarmigan Creek wraps around the banks of Ptarmigan Creek just south of Moose Pass. It has 16 sites at 470 feet, shaded by spruce and paper birch, with mountain views all around. There are no hookups, but firewood is sold on site.

Dolly Varden and rainbow trout are frequent catches in the creek. From late August to early September, red salmon spawn in the creek and can be watched from the fish viewing platform. The Ptarmigan Creek Trail starts at the campground.
