The feel
Ermine Hill is a free trailhead with backcountry ridge camping, partway along Kesugi Ridge in Denali State Park. Curry and Kesugi Ridges form a 35 mile long north-south alpine ridge, the backbone of the park's eastern half, and the park's trail system is split into North and South sections. Sites are dispersed and first come, first served, and you pack everything in and out.
