Byers Lake Campground
Trapper Creek
The feel
Byers Lake Campground sits at the heart of Denali State Park, on a spruce-ringed lake at the foot of Kesugi Ridge. It is a quiet, family campground with 73 campsites and 15 picnic sites, and the lake brings loon calls and views of Denali.
The water is the draw. Canoe, kayak and paddle board rentals are available, and the lake holds burbot, lake trout and rainbow trout. Three public-use cabins on the lake rent nightly, and a loop trail starts from the campground.
