Monderosa Bar

The feel

Monderosa is a locally owned burger bar built in 1982 on the Parks Highway through Nenana, at Mile 309. Nick Monroe opened it that year, and it is a classic Alaskan roadhouse with a friendly local atmosphere. The owner claims the best burger in Alaska.

The menu is hearty American fare for lunch and dinner: burgers, fish and chips and generous fries. There is a full bar, and you can dine in or take your food to go.
