Kenai Joe's
Kenai
The feel
Kenai Joe's sits in Old Town Kenai and dates to 1935, when it opened as the peninsula's oldest watering hole. It is an old-town dive, cheap and unpretentious.
Doug Hogue of Kenai River Brewing bought the historic bar and kept the name, to keep the spirit of its history. Beer on tap, well drinks and specialty cocktails are the draw, and live bands play most weekends.
