Homer
The feel
Homer Brewing Company sits at 1411 Lakeshore Dr on Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet. It opened on September 21, 1996, started by Steve McCasland, Lasse Holmes and Karen Berger.
You can sit in the indoor tap room or at the outdoor seating area. There is no food service, but snacks that go with beer are sold and you are welcome to bring your own food. Broken Birch Best Bitter, a light session ale, is the signature pour, alongside Odyssey Oatmeal Stout and Red Knot Scottish.
