The feel

The taproom is timber-framed and hung with local art and ski relics. Outside, a spacious beer garden has fire pits and plenty of seating, and the whole place sits on Alyeska Highway in Girdwood.

Food trucks park on site daily, so you can eat with your pour. Kids are welcome with an adult, and well-behaved dogs are welcome in the beer garden, though not in the tasting room. Live music turns up some weekends. Non-drinkers have root beer, cold brew coffee and kombucha, and the taproom fills growlers to take home.

What to expect

Setting

A timber-framed taproom with local art and ski relics, plus a beer garden with fire pits, at 2700 Alyeska Hwy.

Hours

Summer daily 11am to 10pm. Winter noon to 9pm on weekdays and 11am to 9pm on weekends.

Food and drink

Its own beer, hard cider, wine and bubbles, plus root beer, cold brew coffee and kombucha. Food trucks are on site daily.

Live music some weekends.

Kids

Welcome when accompanied by an adult.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs are allowed in the beer garden but not in the tasting room.

Season and access

Open year round, with shorter hours in winter. Last call is 10 p.m. in summer and 9 p.m. in winter.

Make the beer garden your base if you have a dog, since dogs cannot go into the tasting room. Winter hours are shorter, so a summer visit gives you the full evening.

Before you go

• Place food orders at least 30 minutes before closing.
• Buy 4-packs of 16-ounce cans in the taproom, the only place they are sold.

• Bring an empty growler or ask the taproom to fill one.
