Vagt Lake Trail
The feel
The trail starts along the southern end of Trail Lake and follows the lakeshore, then climbs through a meadow before dropping into Vagt Lake. It rambles through aspen, spruce and a babbling creek, at a grade of 1 to 2 percent.
It is very easy and well maintained, which makes it a nice hike with small children. It is mostly a trail for fishermen to reach the lake.
