Rollin Coal and Dozers Demise Loop

The feel

This is hand-built singletrack winding through the Diamond Creek area just outside Homer, made and maintained by community volunteers. It was designed mainly for mountain biking, so you get hairpin turns, wooden ladder bridges and rolling berms, and hikers and runners share it with riders.

You walk through alder forest and tall grass meadows, with moose and native birds around. Keep your eyes and ears open for fast-moving riders at the sharp corners.
